Christopher Hinds, M.R.C. LPC

Chris Hinds received an undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University and a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from University Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Since then he has gone on as a Licensed Professional Counselor working with mental health struggles including depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, trauma, and stress. He has also worked in facilities specializing in people with chronic illness including pain and traumatic brain injury.

He has a passion for helping people adjust to difficult periods and supporting them through the difficult issues that can arise in life. These can include self-esteem issues, conflicts, career difficulties, communication and social skills, and interpersonal relationships. Having received counseling services in the past himself, he knows how difficult it can be to take the steps necessary to ask for help. He believes building a good relationship between therapist and client, along with concrete strategies, can help set people back on the road to recovery.
