Dr. Christopher Taylor

Christopher S. Taylor, Ph.D. LPC-S is an adjunct professor of counseling ethics at Dallas Theological Seminary and Amberton University. As a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary with a Masters in Counseling, Dr. Taylor utilizes existential psychotherapy to provide treatment for individuals struggling with loss of identity, depression, anxiety, and divorce recovery. As a Board-Approved Supervisor with a Ph.D. in Counseling Education and Supervision, Dr. Taylor currently provides supervision for licensed interns. In 2015 Dr. Taylor was appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to serve on the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors as a professional member.

Mallory O'Neal

Mallory earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology from Texas A&M University and her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Appalachian State University. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and certified middle school teacher as well as a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator for premarital and marital counseling. Mallory specializes in adolescent issues, spirituality, depression and mood disorders, anxiety, body image issues, life stage transitions, couples and marital, interpersonal conflict and communication, parenting and healthy boundaries in relationships.

Emily Larzabal

Having struggled with anxiety growing up, Emily Larzabal is well aware of how difficult it can be to deal with emotional issues. Wanting to provide the same healing she received through counseling, she earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology as well as her master’s degree in Counseling at Dallas Baptist University.

Kimberly Presley

Kimberly earned her undergraduate degree and graduate degree in Social Work from Baylor University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who discovered her passion for helping others by growing up outside Chicago and getting to know the need in the city. She believes that we all have capacity for change and growth when we feel understood, fully known, and accepted.

Constance Canada

Constance Canada is a Licensed Professional Counselor.  She received her undergraduate degree from Stephen F. Austin University in Rehabilitation Services and her Master in Professional Counseling from Amberton University.  Constance has worked with a broad spectrum of clients since receiving her masters degree in 2012.  She believes in assisting peo

Dianne Feria

Dianne F earned her Bachelor's in Psychology from Ashford University and her Master's in Community Counseling from Argosy University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor who utilizes Adlerian psychotherapy as well as Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused Therapy in helping individuals.

Allison Conway

Allison focuses on adolescent therapy, body image issues and eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and trauma. Allison is an LPC-Intern practicing under the supervision of Dr. Christopher S. Taylor, Ph.D. LPC-S.

 

 

Arnise Jackson

Arnise S. Jackson earned her Master of Art degree at Amberton University in Garland, TX in Professional Counseling and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas Woman’s University in Denton TX. Arnise is under the supervision of Dr. Taylor and continuing to gain an array of professional experience as a clinician.

 

David Buck

David R. Buck earned his Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University and his Bachelor’s in University Studies with a primary focus in Psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is an LPC-Inter under Dr. Taylor's supervision.

CHRISTOPHER S. TAYLOR, PH.D. LPC-S

Christopher S. Taylor, Ph.D. LPC-S is an adjunct professor of counseling ethics at Dallas Theological Seminary and Amberton University. Working with various state and private organizations, such as Child Protective Services, since 2008 Dr. Taylor has experienced the lack of community support for broken homes in both urban and rural communities. In an endeavor to alleviate this issue, Dr. Taylor served as the court coordinator and program developer for Legacy Family Court in Dallas County from 2013 to 2016. In 2015 Legacy Family Court was recognized as “An Agent of Change” by The Council on Drug and Alcohol Abuse and was awarded an official Resolution by Dallas County. In 2016 the Agricultural Commissioner appointed Dr. Taylor to serve on the Rural Health Task Force to assist in developing solutions for the expansion of mental health programs in rural Texas communities. 

Dr. Taylor completed his bachelors of arts in Philosophy with a focus of existentialism at Texas A & M University. He continues to research and write on the subject of identity and existential development.

    Mallory is a systems therapist incorporating multiple techniques into her approach. She has a passion for helping others understand and navigate through their complex worlds in order to achieve a happier and balanced way of life. In addition to her middle school teaching experience, Mallory has worked in a variety of counseling settings including intensive outpatient substance abuse clinics for adults and adolescents, non-profit counseling center for youth offenders and their families, faith-based pregnancy center, outpatient behavioral healthcare clinic, county jail, and private practice.

      Emily Larzabal, M.A. LPC

        Kimberly Presley, MSW, LCSW

        Kimberly earned her undergraduate degree and graduate degree in Social Work from Baylor University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who discovered her passion for helping others by growing up outside Chicago and getting to know the need in the city. She believes that we all have capacity for change and growth when we feel understood, fully known, and accepted. Each person is unique and sees the world differently and her hope is that she can understand, know, and accept you in order to assist you in the healing and growing process. Kimberly spent the majority of her career working at a Residential Treatment Center in Chicago. In Chicago's West side, she was first a Therapist, and later Clinical Director, for adolescents and their families who lived in the inpatient psychiatric facility. She specializes in adolescents, survivors of trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, PTSD, complex family systems, self-image/self-esteem, interpersonal relationships and conflicts, and suicide. She utilizes various interventions from TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, family systems, and strategic family therapy.

          Constance Canada is a Licensed Professional Counselor.  She received her undergraduate degree from Stephen F.             Dianne has extensive background working with children, adults, and families in an inpatient and outpatient setting. She is also trained in working with individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, self-esteem and self-worth, domestic violence, grief, drug and alcohol addiction. Dianne is passionate about working with individuals experiencing psychosis and personality disorders.

              Allison focuses on adolescent therapy, body image issues and eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and trauma. Allison is an LPC Intern practicing under the supervision of Dr. Christopher S. Taylor, Ph.D. LPC-S.

              Allison received her undergraduate degree in psychology from The University of New Mexico and her master’s degree in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. Allison is certified as a Prepare/Enrich facilitator for premarital and marital counseling.

              Allison has extensive experience treating adolescents in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including working with inpatient children and adolescents (ages 2 to 12) at Cook Children’s Hospital and residentially with adolescents at Heartlight Ministries. She also has experience leading group therapy related to body image and eating disorders and has volunteered to assist individuals calling a crisis hotline, and providing one-on-one counseling and group therapy for both adolescents and adults.

              Allison adopts a holistic approach in her practice, and seeks to address her patients’ psychological and mental as well as physical challenges. In addition to her work in counseling, Allison has significant experience related to health, nutrition, and wellness, and has been a certified personal trainer.

              Arnise S. Arnise is currently preparing to begin working towards her licensure hours with supervision under Dr. Taylor and continuing to gain an array of professional experience as clinician.

              As a clinician, she enjoys helping people find solutions to the problems and issues in their lives. She brings clinical experience and academic training in Professional Counseling into her work with clients as they transition through life. Leaving one chapter behind while moving on to the next is bound to be accompanied by times of need in which we need someone to help us learn new strategies or offer encouragement and support.

              Arnise’s passion is to contribute in some way to helping individuals and families obtain a better quality of life in any of the areas they may be struggling with or having difficulty in; be it personal or otherwise. People are resilient and have inner strengths which sometimes require professional assistance in order for them to be discovered. Finding such support through this level of expertise helps a person realize no challenge is too big to be overcome if the client is willing to work at it. Arnise has diverse mental health experience working in several types of therapeutic settings (residential treatment centers and mental health facilities) and have allowed each of these experiences to teach and challenge her as a clinician.

              David Buck, M.S. LPC Intern

              David R. Buck earned his Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University and his Bachelor’s in University Studies with a primary focus in Psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington. David provides basic consultation and coaching services by partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential by providing support to enhance the skills, resources and creativity that the client already has in order to enhance the quality of their lives through individual, couples and family work. With an extensive background in private practice administration, David is now working under Christopher S. Taylor, Ph.D. LPC-S to learn the professional and clinical side of private practice. David also works as a clinician/technician at a local mental health and wellness center south of Dallas. His goal is to continue developing into an ethical and competent clinician providing guidance and support to his clients for more wellness-centered, fully actualized living.
