Rachel Saenz is out on extended family leave until October 25th, 2021.
Rachel earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology, continuing on to achieve her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Texas at San Antonio. She is a licensed professional counselor specializing in bereavement, trauma, child abuse, depression, anxiety, and self-esteem issues. She has worked with all types of death from prolonged illness to homicide. In addition, she works with all ages from 5 years old to adulthood. Rachel practices other modes of counseling that include cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed therapy. She provides client-centered play therapy for children experiencing emotional, behavioral, and social issues. Rachel believes by providing a safe place where clients experience full acceptance, empathy, and understanding they are able to work through, process, and improve their overall mental health.
