Hello! My name is Desi Richardson. I am licensed through the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor.

I received my Bachelor of Science in General Studies with a minor in Psychology in 2016 from West Texas A&M University while in Canyon, Texas. After graduation, I moved back to Dallas-Fort Worth and began volunteering in a nonprofit providing group therapy to grieving children. In 2019, while pursuing my education I gained experience working with adolescents who had been sexually abused. During my internship, I gained knowledge of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT). I received my Master’s in Counseling from West Texas A&M University in May 2020. I enjoy working with older adolescents, young/older adults. I believe that therapy is beneficial to everyone and being in therapy allows you to express yourself in a judgment-free environment. I do my best to create an environment that is welcoming, honest with a hint of humor.
