Makira Nolen, M.A., LPC
I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative while incorporating evidence-based strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, emotional dysregulation, relationship concerns, and self-esteem difficulties. I utilize approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and person-centered therapy to help clients develop healthy coping skills, strengthen self-awareness, and work toward their personal goals.
My goal is to help clients feel more confident in navigating life’s challenges while creating lasting, meaningful change.
