Julie Furber is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She began her counseling career in a crisis center environment and received her Master’s degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling at UT Southwestern School of Health Professions.
Over the last several years, Julie has partnered with individuals facing a variety of life challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and stressors to physical and emotional health. She believes in the healing power of connection within the therapeutic relationship and uses a collaborative, empathic approach. Her treatment modalities include CBT, ACT, attachment-based, narrative, mindfulness, and trauma-informed techniques.
