Elizabeth is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate who specializes in Emotionally Focused and Existential therapy. She earned her Bachelor of Art degree in Religion from Baylor University with a minor in Child and Family Studies and her Master of Art degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. She has training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Sexual Assault Advocacy, Trust Based Relational Intervention, Telehealth, and a Microcertification in Applied Positive Psychology.
Her experience includes community clinical counseling and providing counseling and advocacy for victims of crime and their families.Elizabeth views therapy as a collaborative and holistic approach to the navigation of the human condition and as a safe space to explore everything life throws our way. As an existentialist and a relational therapist, her goal is to emphasize identity development, emotional insight and regulation, freedom and responsibility, effective communication, relational interdependence, and the creation of meaning.
