Jay is a compassionate and dedicated counselor who earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU). Under the supervision of Ashley Jesse, LPC-S, Jay is working towards full licensure and is currently an Associate. Jay uses a strength-based, solution-focused approach, emphasizing the positive aspects and strengths that individuals have already developed. Jay assists clients in honing these strengths to overcome challenges and achieve their personal goals.
Jay has experience working with a diverse range of populations, including individuals of all ages, trauma survivors, and families. She offers a variety of therapeutic services, including individual, family, and couples therapy. Jay’s welcoming and non-judgmental approach creates a safe and inclusive environment for clients from all walks of life, whether it’s their first time in therapy or they are continuing their journey.
With a background in a non-profit counseling center, Jay is particularly skilled in addressing the needs of those facing significant life challenges.
