Natalina Velez, MSW, LCSW
Being human is layered, uncomfortable, and too wonderful to be reduced to a checklist. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I work with the totality of who you are — your nervous system, your history, your identity, your community, your body, and even the parts of yourself you haven’t told anyone about yet.
I have a genuine passion for working with the queer community, neurodivergent folks, and people navigating complex trauma. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you. It’s about creating space for what was never broken to begin with.
My approach is eclectic by design. I draw from dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), trauma-informed care, somatic work, and family systems — not because I follow one school of thought, but because you’re not one-size-fits-all, and neither is good therapy. If something isn’t working, we change it. I take your lead.
Whether you’re coming in with a clinical diagnosis, a feeling that something might be off, or ready to talk — you don’t have to have it figured out before we start.
