Antoine Votaw, MA, LPC, LCDC
If you are feeling lost or like there are burdens in your life that are holding you back from being the person you know that you are; if you can’t seem to cut down on things you know are hurting you; if you feel less connected to work and friends, there is hope. It is normal for people to lose their way when life is so complicated, but struggle can lead to strength if we use it effectively. Friedrich Nietzsche said, “He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how.” and I would like you find your why to help you regain your life back.
I help my clients by developing a treatment plan for each client focused on the presenting problem, and then use a mixture of counseling skills including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, EMDR, and existential therapy to help break down problems into manageable solutions and develop a plan for continue improvement.
In my 6 year experience I have developed an existential and eclectic treatment style that is tailored to the individual and respects cultural considerations. I consider myself LGBTQIA+ friendly and open to all faiths and nationalities. Please don’t waste anymore time living a life less than your truest potential and contact me to set up a phone call to meet.
