Sierra Richard, M.Ed., LPC
Sierra Richard is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her Master of Education in Counseling and Development from Lamar University and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northwestern State University of Louisiana.
Sierra is passionate about working with adolescents, young adults, and adults as they navigate life’s challenges, deepen their understanding of themselves, and strengthen their relationships with others. She particularly enjoys helping individuals and families improve communication, foster meaningful connections, and create healthier patterns of interaction. As a therapist trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), Sierra also supports clients in processing difficult experiences and moving toward healing and growth.
Sierra believes that every person has the capacity for change, resilience, and becoming the version of themselves they aspire to be. Her approach is grounded in understanding the whole person, recognizing that each individual’s experiences, relationships, environment, and strengths play an important role in their well-being. She takes a collaborative and personalized approach to therapy, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs and goals of the client.
Above all, Sierra strives to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to be their authentic selves. She is committed to helping clients gain insight, build on their strengths, and cultivate lasting growth, healing, and fulfillment.
