Tara Edwards, M.Ed., Associate-LPC
Tara Edwards is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Lori K. Shaw, LPC-S, and a Texas-certified school counselor with experience working with children, adolescents, and families. She attended Abilene Christian University, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Art.
Tara offers virtual sessions for couples and individuals ages 16 and older, supporting them through life’s everyday challenges—whether it’s managing stress, navigating parenting or marital issues, coping with anxiety, working through self-esteem issues, or family dynamics.
Tara is trained in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and the Gottman Method. Tara has experience working with individuals and families navigating anxiety, grief, marital and parenting struggles. Tara believes in working alongside clients to create an authentic, meaningful, and emotionally balanced approach to life.
