Suzanne Fouad, M.A., LPC-Associate
Suzanne Fouad, MA, is an LPC-Associate supervised by Lori Shaw and a Texas certified School Counselor who has experience working with children, teens, and adults. She attended the University of Texas at Dallas where she earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education. She received her MA in School Counseling as well as her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Amberton University. Suzanne believes in meeting the client where they are at with unconditional warm positive regard in order to support their emotional and behavioral well being.
Suzanne has been a native to the DFW area since she was a child and has always enjoyed making people feel seen and heard. As a daughter of immigrants, she has a deep lived experience of holding space for multiple perspectives and a passion for understanding the complexities of identity and relationship dynamics.
Suzanne is trained in many therapeutic approaches and often leans on cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy and has experience working with individuals of all ages navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. Suzanne has a heart and hunger to connect with clients to create a personally tailored safe space where they can build a window of tolerance for their stressors and live life more fully.
