Talon is a Licensed Professional Counseling Associate with a focus in Narrative and Solution Focused Therapy. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a Minor in Art and her Masters of Art in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. She has training in Telehealth, Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Maternal Mental Health, Human Trafficking Awareness, Child Abuse Identification and Reporting, and Using Games in Play Therapy. Talon views therapy as a process of allowing people to re-engage with their own histories as she works with clients in re-writing their narratives and recognizing themselves as protagonists in their own stories. As a counselor she is a guide as clients are an expert on themselves and have the ability to come to their own answers with a little help.
