Tracy Wilshusen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and graduated from Tarleton State University with a Master of Science in Social Work.
Tracy’s past work includes working in a variety of settings, including medical social work, residential eating disorder treatment, children advocacy, and outpatient mental health services. She has worked with children, adolescents, families, and adults. She has worked with clients on navigating a variety of issues including eating disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma/abuse, self-esteem, stress, life transitions, and communication skills.
Tracy’s approach to counseling is collaborative and client centered. She meets clients where they are and guides them on their journey to get to where they need to be. She uses a variety of evidence-based approaches to support clients in cultivating growth including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.
Tracy believes in empowering clients to become the healthiest version of themselves. Tracy loves to hold space for clients to be greeted with empathy, advocacy, and non-judgment. She believes that healing isn’t always linear, but is here to cheer you on along the way.
