Garry D. Coronell, M.S. LPC-A earned his undergraduate degree in Clinical Psychology from Georgia Gwinnett College and his master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from East Carolina University. Much of his training and experience comes from a clinically structured environment, where he worked with patients from children, adolescents, and adults. Garry can provide services for social, mental, emotional, behavioral, and substance use concerns for clients of all ages. He is also a United States Marine Corps veteran with six years of active-duty experience in the infantry and special operations support.
Garry works with various cognitive, emotional, and behavioral disorders, including trauma and anger management. His main goals for clients to reach in the treatment process involve self-actualization and personal growth. Garry’s main therapeutic methods include person/client-centered, dialectical behavioral therapy, and strength-based counseling.
Garry focuses on creating a relaxed and safe environment for all clients. By being genuine, insightful, and curious, he remains present for anyone who desires to find their best self. By developing new skills and accepting past/present issues, working towards life-lasting change is only a conversation away. “The past doesn’t define you…it defines growth.”
