Kathleen (Kate) is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She completed her M.S. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Texas at Tyler. Kate believes in a holistic approach to therapy, and is Mind Body Therapy certified. Kate aims to offer a truly holistic, culturally sensitive and inclusive therapy experience utilizing a person-centered, attachment-focused approach that could incorporate Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and interpersonal therapy.

As someone who works with the whole person, Kate understands the importance of religion within all faith groups and will incorporate faith/spirituality as much or as little as requested.She specializes in working with those who have endured complex trauma, spiritual abuse or religious trauma, struggle with self-injury, chronic suicidal ideation, and exploration and expression of identity.

Kate believes we have the potential to be healed in relationships, including the therapeutic relationship. Kathleen aims to create a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals feel welcome to openly explore their goals, their struggles, their hopes, and whatever else they’re prepared to approach with curiosity.
